Community Safety Training

The Salvation Army provides our personnel and the community at large with safety training. Please see the community trainings offered today - To request more information about this training, please fill out the interest form at https://bit.ly/TSAIMCommunityTraining or call (303) 860-5492.

Medic First Aid, CPR & AED Training - The Salvation Army offers this training under HSI - Health & Safety Institute. To cover our training costs, we charge $75 per individual participant.

Active Shooter Response Training - The Salvation Army offers HSI's Active Violence Immediate Response Training program. To cover our training costs, we charge $50 per individual participant.

Emergency Disaster Services Worker Training

The Salvation Army can only carry out its mission with the support of volunteers. From cooking and serving meals to first responders, to providing emergency financial assistance through our disaster social services, our volunteers may be able to get involved in various roles. To ensure that we uphold our mission and provide our volunteers and clients with a safe environment, we have policies requiring all EDS volunteers to be trained and background checked.

If you would like to become a Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) volunteer, please go through the following steps:

• CPR & MFA / Recommended

• Fork Lift Certifications / Recommended

• Mental Health First Aid / Recommended / Offered twice a year, and as needed
